Alba runs most of the indoor golf industry in Norway and is expanding internationally. We're looking for a developer who wants to own problems end-to-end. Someone who thinks about the product as much as the code.
The role
Alba runs most of the indoor golf industry in Norway and is now expanding internationally. We're a small team, the product is mature, and we're looking for a developer who wants to own problems end-to-end, not just tickets.
What the work looks like
You'll work across a TypeScript monorepo: frontend, backend, and integrations that connect our software to physical hardware in simulator bays. The team is small, so context is broad and ownership is real. You'll have a say in how things get built, not just whether they compile.
What we're looking for
AI writes a lot of code now. What it doesn't do is know what to build, spot when something will confuse an operator, or push back on a brief that's solving the wrong problem. That's the job.
We're looking for someone who:
- Thinks about problems before reaching for solutions
- Has strong UX instincts and gets bothered when things are harder than they need to be
- Understands enough about how a business works to have opinions about what matters
- Can own an area of the product, not just the code, but the outcome
Specific frameworks matter less than how you think. We work in TypeScript.
