Some memberships are easier to sell privately than from your public membership page. An unlisted membership lets you share a direct purchase link with specific customers, for example a corporate group, a launch offer, or an invite-only package.
When an unlisted membership helps
Use it when you want customers to buy a membership themselves, but you do not want it listed on your venue's public membership page or in the venue menu.
Set up an unlisted membership
- Go to Products, then Memberships.
- Create a new membership, or open an existing one.
- Under Availability, choose Unlisted.
- Set pricing, benefits, and sales period as usual.
- Save the membership.
After you save, Alba shows the Membership link. Copy it and share it with the customers you want to invite. If you switch an existing membership to unlisted, you get the same link prompt after saving. You can also find the link again when you open the saved membership.
What customers see
Customers who open the link land on a dedicated membership page for that offer. They can review the details and complete checkout there.
The membership does not appear on your public membership page, and it is not shown in your venue navigation. Anyone with the link can still purchase it while it is within its selling window.
Sales period still applies
Unlisted memberships follow the same Buyable from and Buyable until dates in the Sales period section as public memberships. Outside that window, the link stops working for new purchases.
In your membership list
On the memberships table, unlisted memberships show Unlisted in the Availability column instead of Public.
Other availability options
Public lists the membership on your booking pages for anyone to purchase. Admin only (one-time memberships only) lets you add members manually with no customer self-serve purchase. For that workflow, see How to manually add a new member.
For recurring vs one-time membership types, see What kinds of memberships does Alba offer.
