You can connect your access control system to Alba yourself, under Settings, then Doors in the admin panel. Each door you add is linked to your lock system, so Alba can open it for customers around their booking.
You need an account in one of the supported systems first. See What access control systems Alba supports for the list, and I want access control, how do I get it if you are still choosing a system.
Add a door
- Go to Settings, then Doors.
- Click Add door.
- Choose your access control system.
- Enter a Door name. This is for you, so use something clear like “Main entrance”.
- Enter the Door ID from your lock system. Avigilon, Entro and Keyfree don’t need one.
- Optionally, choose a Simulator. Link a door to a simulator if it belongs to one bay, and leave it empty for a shared entrance.
- Enter the details your system asks for (see below).
- Test the connection, then save.
Testing the connection sends a real unlock command, so the door opens when you test it. Stand next to it, or warn anyone inside.
What you need from your system
Each system asks for different details. Have these ready:
- Kisi: API key
- Glutz: username, password and host address
- Kulku: device ID, building ID, lock name, customer ID and encryption key
- Avigilon (OpenPath): organisation ID, user ID, credential ID, entry ID, and the email and password for the account
- Entro: unit ID and company ID
- Unloc: client ID, client secret and project ID
- UniFi Access: API token, host address, port and SPKI key
- TTLock: username and password
- Keyfree: token
- Seam: API key
- Aegis: API key
- Kiion (formerly Zesec): shown as Zesec when you add a door, and only needs the door ID
Change or remove a door
Open the door in Settings, then Doors to change its name, Door ID or linked simulator. You can also remove a door there. To change the system or its login details, add the door again.
How long before and after a booking
