What does Alba do?
Alba runs the whole operation for an indoor golf venue: booking, payments, access control, memberships, smart pricing, simulator control and reporting, all in one system. Most operators come to us running bookings in one tool, payments through a terminal, doors in a separate app and members in a spreadsheet. Alba pulls that into one place, so once someone books, most of the follow-up happens on its own. It's not a calendar with a logo on it.
Is Alba really built just for indoor golf?
Yes. We build for indoor golf and nothing else, so the things that are specific to this space are already in there: per-player pricing, SimLock simulator control, bay heatmaps, member free hours. A generic booking tool treats a bay like any other appointment slot. We don't. Around 1000+ venues across 16 markets run on Alba, and we spend most of our time with them, which is where the product comes from.
Can I run an unstaffed or 24/7 venue with Alba?
Yes, and a lot of venues on Alba do. Picture a 4-bay unmanned venue: SimLock keeps the bays locked behind a branded screen and opens a session automatically when its booking starts, while access control sends the customer a link to unlock the door from their phone. Someone walking in can scan a QR code and book on the spot. The venue keeps running through the night with no one on site.
Which door and access systems does Alba work with?
Alba integrates with Zesec, Kisi, Glutz, OpenPath, Unloc, TTLock, Seam, Entro, UniFi, Kulku and Keyfree, each through the vendor's own secure API. If you're on something that isn't on that list, we can usually sort out a custom integration, so it's worth asking.
Do I need my own payment provider?
No. Payments run through Adyen and we set that up for you, so you can take cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay without opening your own merchant account. Customers can also pay with value cards, gift cards, memberships and session passes, and all of it is applied automatically at checkout.
How much does Alba cost?
Pricing is per bay, with every feature unlocked, the payment provider and SimLock included, no setup fee and no long-term contract. It starts at €29 / £29 / $29 / 399 kr per bay per month depending on where you are. For operators running more than 10 locations, we put together custom franchise rates.
How quickly can I get started, and can you move my existing members over?
Most venues are live within a few days. We help configure your settings, brand your booking page and import your existing members, and we stay close while you get going. You're not setting this up on your own.
Can Alba handle multiple locations, and am I locked into a contract?
Both single venues and multi-location operations run on Alba, with franchise pricing and a key account manager once things get bigger. There's no long-term contract, so you can cancel any time. If it ever stops being the right fit, we'll help you move off cleanly.
