When someone who runs Alba for your venue leaves, you can give a new person access and take away the old person’s access in a few minutes. The person who leaves does not need to be involved, unless they are the Account Owner.
1. Find out who has access
Go to Settings, then User roles. The list shows everyone with access and their role. The Account Owner is shown at the top of the list.
2. Give the new person access
- The new person needs an Alba account first, registered with the email you will use. If they don’t have one, they can sign up from your booking page.
- In User roles, click Invite user, enter their email and choose a role.
- For roles tied to one venue, choose the location, then save.
For a new main contact, Account Admin gives broad access to every venue. Location Admin gives full control of one venue. See How to add users and manage their roles for what each role can do.
3. Remove the old person’s access
In User roles, click Remove next to the person who left. This removes their access to your account only. It does not delete their Alba account.
If the person who left is the Account Owner
There can only be one Account Owner per account, and they cannot be removed from the list. The Account Owner has to transfer ownership to an Account Admin. See How to transfer account ownership. If the owner can’t be reached, contact us at help@albaplay.com.
Tip
Add a second person with Account Admin now, so you are never locked out when one person leaves.
