Gift cards allow customers to purchase credit that can be used to pay for bookings in Alba.
Restrictions
When gift card sales are activated, customers can purchase gift cards via the booking solution. The gift card can only be used to pay for hours in Alba. The gift card cannot be used to pay for products or other services.
What does the gift card look like?
When a customer purchases a gift card, they will receive an email with a well-designed PDF containing a code that can be used to pay for hours in Alba. The customer can choose to use the code themselves or give it to someone else.
How is the gift card used?
The code is used when the customer first selects the hour they want to book, then enters the code on the payment page at checkout.
Can multiple people use the same code?
No. The first time a customer uses the gift card, the gift card is linked to the customer's profile. This allows the customer to see the gift card's balance and history in Alba.
Partial payment
If the gift card no longer has enough funds to pay for an hour, the customer can pay the remaining balance using another payment method seamlessly.
