If a member cancels a booking, do their free hours come back?
Yes. When a member books with their included free hours and then cancels that booking, the hours return to their balance.
Alba only counts confirmed bookings against a member's included hours. A cancelled booking no longer counts, so the time frees up again for the member to rebook.
How this works with recurring memberships
For recurring memberships, included hours reset at the start of every billing period. Hours that come back from a cancellation are available again within the same period they belonged to. Once the period renews, the balance resets anyway, so there's nothing to carry over.
For seasonal memberships, included hours apply across the whole active period, so a cancelled booking returns those hours for the rest of the season.
Where to check remaining hours
Members can see their remaining included hours in the booking drawer on your booking page. From the admin panel, open the customer's card and use Show usage to see how many included hours they have left in the current period.
